Multivariate

Multivariate Descriptive Statistics include statistical computations and methods for Matrix data structure. Matrix columns correspond to variables and rows correspond to observations. That is why matrix statistics are referred to as Multivariate Descriptive Statistics.

Methods provided for matrix compute statistics for each variable separately, i.e. statistics are calculated for each column and the result is a matrix or vector structure which consists of results for each column.
